Biography

Carolyn Batz McGee grew up in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. She attended Saint Mary’s College where she studied business administration, economics, and Italian. She graduated from Saint Mary’s with honors in 2005 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Ms. Batz graduated with honors from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008. While in law school, she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review and interned for the Honorable Maureen Lally-Green (ret.) of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She also served as a research assistant to Associate Professor of Law Bruce A. Antkowiak.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Batz McGee served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nora Barry Fischer of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Batz McGee is licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association. She is an active member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Saint Mary’s College Alumnae Club and currently resides in the Pittsburgh area.
