Biography
Cynthia A. Baker obtained her undergraduate degree in English from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1987, magna cum laude. She later obtained her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1993, cum laude. While attending Duquesne University School of Law, she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review.
Ms. Baker is a member of all Pennsylvania State Courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the Worker’s Compensation section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Since her admission to the Pennsylvania bar, Ms. Baker has concentrated her practice to workers’ compensation litigation. Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Ms. Baker was associated with Fricker & Associates where she gained extensive appellate experience, practicing before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, as well as the Commonwealth Court, and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Baker makes her home in Harmony, Pennsylvania with her husband Bruce, and their two children.
