Gerald E. Lofstead, III was born January 9 1968 in Masontown, Pennsylvania. After graduating from the Linsly School, Mr. Lofstead attended Lafayette College, where he received an A.B. Degree in Government and Law in 1990. In 1997 Mr. Lofstead obtained his Juris Doctorate from Temple University where he was an editorial member of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal.

Mr. Lofstead is licensed to practice in the states of West Virginia and Ohio and actively practices in the areas of civil litigation, real estate law, corporate law, and commercial law, as well as insurance defense litigation.

Mr. Lofstead currently resides in Wheeling with his family. He is active in the community, volunteering as a Wheeling Amateur Hockey Association board member and as a voting representative of the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League.
