Gregory DiCarlo, Esquire, graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History. He then went on to attend the Widener University School of Law, where he obtained his juris doctor degree in 1997. At Widener, Mr. DiCarlo was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award, as well as the National Order of the Barristers.
Mr. DiCarlo is the managing workers’ compensation partner in the firm’s Marlton, New Jersey office. In this capacity, he litigates matters for a variety of insurance carriers on behalf of their insureds, as well as self-insured entities, in all venues throughout the state of New Jersey. Representative carrier/third party administrator clients include, AIG, ACE/ESIS, Gallagher Bassett Services, GAB Robins and The Hartford/Specialty Risk Services. Major employer clients include United Parcel Service, United Technologies (Otis Elevator and Carrier Corp.), Bank of America, Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory, Cracker Barrel, Sears/K-Mart, JCPenney, CVS, Coca Cola Enterprises, Dunbar Armored, Brandywine Senior Care, and Total American Services, Inc., as well as numerous trucking/transportation clients (including Swift Transportation, JB Hunt, Estes Transportation, First Group America and Boston Coach), and various personnel staffing companies (Staffmark, Labor Ready, Robert Half International, AccuStaffing, OnTime Staffing, Corporate Planned Staffing, People 2.0, Kaye Personnel, Telesearch Aerotek, Allegis Group, and Day & Zimmerman). Mr. DiCarlo also has a sub-specialty in defending various professional sports teams throughout New Jersey.
Apart from his workers’ compensation practice, Mr. DiCarlo also has experience in the defense of personal injury claims. Notably, in general insurance liability litigation, motor vehicle and premises liability matters. He has also represented employers in protecting their intellectual property rights, primarily through anti-counterfeiting litigation.
Mr. DiCarlo is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all New Jersey state courts, as well as in all vicinages of the United States District Court in New Jersey. He is equally admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. In additions, he is also admitted, and has appeared before, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. DiCarlo is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Inns of Court (Camden/Burlington, NJ Chapter).
Mr. DiCarlo, his wife Emily, his son Charlie and his daughters, Ellie Rose and Lucy, reside in southern New Jersey.
