Jacob S. Polochak, Esquire, is a 2000 honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. Mr. Polochak is a member of all Pennsylvania State Courts, the United States District Court for the Western and District of Pennsylvania, and has successfully practiced before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and in New York, Ohio and West Virginia on a Pro Hoc Vice basis. He is also an active member of the Allegheny and Washington County Bar Associations. Mr. Polochak’s practice is primarily composed of litigation on behalf of insurance carriers and their insureds. Specifically, his practice is focused on premises and auto liability, while he also represents veterinarians in professional liability and license defense through the AVMA. In addition, Mr. Polochak is the head of the Trusts and Estates practice for the Pittsburgh office of Cipriani & Werner. Mr. Polochak has successfully attained the insurance industry designation of Associates in Claim Handling (AIC) and Associates in Risk Management (ARM), and is a CPCU candidate expecting designation in early 2008. Mr. Polochak resides in South Strabane Township with his wife, Kristin, and their son, Jacob.
