Mr. Tierney received his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate from Temple University in 1995. Upon completion of law school he served for two years as a law clerk to The Honorable Chester T. Harhut, Court of Common Pleas, Lackawanna County, who currently serves as the County’s President Judge. Mr. Tierney has most recently been in practice in the Scranton area. He currently serves as the Solicitor to the Lackawanna County Coroner’s office and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of both the Lackawanna County and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Tierney is a founding partner of the Scranton office and currently serves as its managing partner. Mr Tierney’s focus is on civil litigation, insurance defense, commercial law, real estate, workers’ compensation as well as employer rights.

Mr. Tierney resides in Greenfield Township, Pennsylvania with his wife, Suzanne, and his children, Cameron, Devan, Jimmy, Max and Brynn.
