Joseph F. Frattone, IV has devoted his practice exclusively to Pennsylvania workers’ compensation since 1999. He represents insurance companies, self-insureds and third party administrators in all aspects of their workers’ compensation claims. He is always available to his clients to offer solutions to issues ranging from the simple to the complex. For more than a decade, Mr. Frattone has provided assistance with everything from pre-litigation claims handling and strategies to appellate representation. Mr. Frattone practices before all levels of the workers’ compensation system as well as the Commonwealth Court and Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In addition to his trial and appellate work, Mr. Frattone also spends time lecturing and writing about Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law.

From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Frattone was recognized by his peers and the publishers of Philadelphia magazine and the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star”. This honor is given to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the Commonwealth who are 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less.

Before joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Frattone was a partner at a large Philadelphia-based insurance defense firm. Early in his career, he worked for the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board where he drafted opinions.

Mr. Frattone is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and Ohio Northern University’s College of Law and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
