Marie A. Porta, Esquire, is a 2000, graduate of Cabrini College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science.  Ms. Porta obtained her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2004, graduating cum laude.  Ms. Porta is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Following law school, Ms. Porta worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, P.C., Ms. Porta spent four years practicing insurance defense litigation at another firm with a focus on premises liability, commercial trucking liability, dram shop liability, and construction litigation.  Ms. Porta concentrates her practice on general liability litigation.

She resides in Chester County, Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter.
