Biography
Michael J. Domanish is a 1990 graduate of the University of Scranton, where he earned degrees in History and Political Science. Mr. Domanish then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum laude, from Widener University. While there, he was named a "Widener Scholar" for academic achievement.
Since graduation, Michael has practiced almost exclusively in the defense of insurance carriers and their insured clients including individuals, large corporations, public utilities, trucking companies, construction companies and municipalities. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, motor vehicle law and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, and his practice is concentrated in those areas. In addition, Michael has been appointed as an arbitrator and mediator by parties to resolve their disputes and has served as a Special Trial Master in Lackawanna County.
Mr. Domanish is currently licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lackawanna County Bar Association and The Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
Mr. Domanish currently resides in Elmhurst Township, Pa with his wife, Anne, and their children, Amy and Matthew. He is active in the community, volunteering with several organizations and serving on the Board of Directors of the North Pocono Junior Basketball league and the Executive Committee of the Anthracite Golf Association.
