Michael W. Smith, Esquire, is a 1980 graduate of Bucknell University and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1983.

Mr. Smith is a member of all Pennsylvania State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Worker’s Compensation and Civil Litigation sections of both the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Mr. Smith’s practice is primarily composed of litigation on behalf of insurance carriers and their insureds. He works in the firm’s Employers Rights Group and his areas of concentration include workers’ compensation, motor vehicle liability and toxic torts. Other areas of interest include commercial and real estate transactions.

Mr. Smith resides in Oakmont with his wife, Jody, and their two daughters, Samantha and Melissa.
