Michael W. Casey, Esquire is a 1989 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law/Political Science. Mr. Casey received his Juris Doctorate from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1989.

Mr. Casey has years of experience in Pennsylvania’s courtrooms, handling Workers’ Compensation matters (for Claimants as well as Employers/Insurers) and civil jury trials. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Casey practiced Plaintiff’s/Claimant’s negligence law with the Media, PA firm of Michael A. Paul & Associates, P.C. In 1995, he joined the Law Offices of Ralph F. Touch, P.C. in Reading, PA, assuming the position of Senior Trial Attorney/Assistant Managing Attorney in that firm, which served as Regional Staff Counsel to the CNA Insurance Companies.

In 1999, Mr. Casey became associated with the Philadelphia, PA-based firm of White and Williams, LLP where he represented the interests of self-insured employers, insured employers, TPAs and multi-line, mutli-state insurers in Workers’ Compensation and employment law litigation throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Casey joined King of Prussia, PA-based Kennedy, Walker & Lipski, P.C., a Regional Staff Counsel Office for Zurich NA, in 2001 as a Senior Associate handling Workers’ Compensation matters and general liability civil cases in Pennsylvania. Mr. Casey declined an offer to serve as a Workers’ Compensation Judge in Eastern PA and instead rose to the level of Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Michael W. Casey, the 10-attorney firm that was the immediate successor to Kennedy, Walker & Lipski, P.C.

In July 2006, Mr. Casey joined Cipriani & Werner, P.C. and now concentrates his practice exclusively on the representation of the Firms’ PA Workers’ Compensation clients from our Philadelphia office.

Mr. Casey is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Mr. Casey is the proud father of a son (Wesley) and a daughter (Kimberly), and currently resides in Honey Brook, PA. In addition to coaching his children in their various athletic endeavors, Mr. Casey is an avid golfer.
