Ryan J. Murphy is a partner in the firm's Lancaster office.  He concentrates his practice in defending employers in workers' compensation, medical fee review disputes arising from WC cases, unemployment compensation and other employment matters.

Mr. Murphy has represented private businesses ranging in size from individually owned to large, multinational corporations.  He has also advised various state agencies in the defense of their workers' compensation claims and medical fee review applications to position those entities to limit their exposure.  His representative clients have included employers in the construction, fabrication, automotive, retail industries, temporary employment agencies, law enforcement and governmental entities throughout Pennsylvania.

Mr. Murphy has taught seminars on Workers' Compensation including the aspect of medical Fee Review disputes, the Medicare Secondary Payer Act, the application of system on the Construction Industry, the discipline and discharge of problem employees, and remote Employment Law.

Mr. Murphy is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Pennsylvania, Lancaster County, Schuylkill County and York County Bar Associations.

Mr. Murphy received dual degrees with High Distinction and with Honors from The Pennsylvania State University in 2003 and his J.D., cum laude, from the Dickinson School of Law in 2006.
