William R. Corkery, Esquire is a 1991 graduate of Temple University where he received his Bachelors degree with honors in accounting. Mr. Corkery received his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law in 1994. While attending Villanova Law School Mr. Corkery clerked for the Honorable Robert Mellon in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Corkery is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Corkery has practiced in the field of workers’ compensation since graduating from law school. Following law school Mr. Corkery practiced with a large Philadelphia law firm representing employers in workers’ compensation litigation. He thereafter spent 6 years at a small Philadelphia firm representing employees in workers’ compensation litigation throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, providing him with valuable insight that he continues to utilize to the benefit of the employers, insurance carriers and third party administrators he currently represents. Mr. Corkery also has experience representing plaintiffs in motor vehicle and medical malpractice litigation, with additional expertise in subrogation issues related to those claims. Mr. Corkery’s current practice focuses on the representation of employers, insurance carriers and administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation. Mr. Corkery resides in Swedesboro, New Jersey with his three children : Andrew, Mallory and Patrick. He enjoys spending his free time coaching his children in their various sports activities.
