E. Ralph Godfrey

E. Ralph Godfrey is a partner in the firm's Harrisburg office.  With almost 25 years of experience, his practice is composed of handling general liability, employment and workers' compensation matters on behalf of insurance carriers and their insureds, employers and companies.  Mr. Godfrey's experience also includes commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation, real estate matters and estate planning and administration.  He has considerable experience in jury trials, arbitrations and mediations.

E. Ralph Godfrey is a partner in the firm's Harrisburg office.  With almost 25 years of experience, his practice is composed of handling general liability, employment and workers' compensation matters on behalf of insurance carriers and their insureds, employers and companies.  Mr. Godfrey's experience also includes commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation, real estate matters and estate planning and administration.  He has considerable experience in jury trials, arbitrations and mediations.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Godfrey worked for a national insurance defense firm and was Assistant Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission where he gained considerable litigation experience in insurance defense, workers' compensation and employment matters.  He has lectured to business groups and insurance companies on a variety of topics.

Mr. Godfrey is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Godfrey is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics in 1992 and his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in 1995.

Mr. Godfrey resides with his wife and children in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
