Jayson T. Hamrick is an associate in the firm’s Charleston office.  He focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation and deliberate intent litigation defense.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Hamrick worked for a Huntington, West Virginia litigation firm where he gained valuable experience handling complex litigation matters.

Mr. Hamrick is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Ohio, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.  He is an active member of Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia where he currently serves as a member of the Young Lawyers Planning Committee and coordinator of Young Lawyers Continuing Legal Education.  He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the West Virginia and Ohio State Bars.

Mr. Hamrick received his B.A., magna cum laude, from West Virginia University in 2015 and his M.B.A. from Fairmont State University in 2016.  He then attended West Virginia University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2019.

In his spare time, Mr. Hamrick enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.  He is an avid golfer and automotive racing enthusiast.
