Jennifer A. Lynch

Jennifer A. Lynch is Of Counsel in the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office.  She focuses her practice on civil litigation.  Her areas of concentration are personal injury defense, premises liability, construction defect, and government liability.  She has represented corporations, individuals, and government entities in both state and federal court.

Ms. Lynch is admitted to the West Virginia, Kentucky and Washington D.C. bars, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, the U.S. District Courts of Appeal for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Lynch has been recognized as a West Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Star annually since 2017 in the areas of Civil Litigation Defense and Personal Injury Defense.  She served as lead associate representing the general contractor in a multi-million-dollar, multi-party case arising from the failure of the largest man-made slope in North America.  Some of Ms. Lynch’s additional experience includes serving as First Chair in a personal injury case, representing a drug manufacturer in numerous West Virginia lawsuits, and arguing dispositive motions before the Mass Litigation Panel of West Virginia.

Ms. Lynch is a member of Defense Research Institute, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, and the Junior League. 

She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she received a B.A. in English Literature.  She obtained her J.D. from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.  Additionally, she holds a Professional Certificate from Georgetown University in International Migration Policy.
