John M. Murphy is an associate in the firm’s Scranton office.  With over 25 years of experience, he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, collections and real estate matters.

Mr. Murphy is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lackawanna Bar Associations.

Mr. Murphy received his B.A. from Lock Haven University in 1989 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1992.  Following law school, he served a one year clerkship for the Honorable Richard H. Horn in the 19th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas in York, Pennsylvania.
