Michael J. Dischley is Of Counsel in the firm’s Long Island, NY office.  He concentrates his practice in general liability defense including New York Labor Law (construction accidents), product liability, premises liability, motor carrier litigation and maritime personal injury litigation. 

Mr. Dischley regularly engages in all aspects of general liability defense from inception through trial, including expert retention and consultation, all aspects of discovery, conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.  He has represented insureds, owners, contractors, doctors, insurance companies, and municipalities before State and Federal Courts.

He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2022 for Personal Injury Litigation Defense.

Mr. Dischley is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of New York, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, and the Hellenic Lawyers Association.

Mr. Dischley received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2011.  He received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2015, while working full time as a law clerk and was a Dean’s List award recipient.
