Nameer S. Shukri is Of Counsel in the firm’s Long Island, New York office.  With over 10 years of litigation experience, he focuses his practice on general liability and construction accident cases, New York Labor Law, premises liability, product liability, commercial and maritime law matters.

Prior to joining C&W, he successfully represented clients in diverse real estate, employment, and commercial matters in his own practice and worked as an associate attorney at several law firms in New York, with a focus on commercial real estate, construction litigation, commercial disputes, complex civil litigation, and medical malpractice.  He has represented clients ranging from multinational corporations to small family-owned businesses and individuals in state and federal courts.

Additionally, Mr. Shukri served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s office and then as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Ramos (Ret.) of the New York Supreme Court before entering private practice.

He is licensed to practice in New York and Florida, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Shukri received his B.A., cum laude, from New York University in 2005 and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2011. 

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, playing the drums, and spending quality time with friends and family.
