Robert F. Ball, a partner in the firm’s Woodbridge, NJ (Metropolitan New York) office, recently obtained a favorable settlement during the course of an ongoing trial.

Attorney Ball represented a gymnastics facility, with the then 14 year old Plaintiff alleging that our client negligently failed to place proper matting in the landing area, causing her to injure her foot during her dismount from the uneven bars.  Plaintiff sustained a fractured navicular bone requiring four (4) surgeries including a fusion.

Plaintiff filed a large Offer of Judgment, and during the trial, eventually accepted a confidential settlement for less than one third of the filed Offer of Judgment amount.
