Attorneys Foulkrod and Lauerman Obtain Defense Verdict

Andrew H. Foulkrod and Eric Lauerman, attorneys in the firm's Harrisburg office, recently received a defense jury verdict for an anesthesiologist in a case alleging failure to properly monitor IV fluid administration resulting in fluid infiltration causing compartment syndrome of the arm and hand.  The robotic surgery, during which the arms are padded and not visible, requires monitoring of the IV by observation of IV drip rate, as well as neuromuscular stimulator evaluation of efficacy of muscle relaxant administered through the IV.
