Antima G. Chakraborty is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office.  She focuses her practice on cybersecurity and data privacy as part of the incident response and litigation teams and assists clients with all stages of data breach response and recovery through litigation and trial.  She also works to support the life sciences litigation practice.

Ms. Chakraborty is a successful trial attorney with almost 10 years of litigation experience in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia and as counsel for several personal injury plaintiffs’ firms.  Most recently, she served as in house litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 title insurance financial institution in Philadelphia.

Ms. Chakraborty is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is Vice Chair of its Young Lawyers Division.  Ms. Chakraborty has also served on its Executive Committee since 2022.  She received a Bar-Star Award in 2022 for her work as Co-Chair of the organization’s Wellness Committee from 2021 to 2022.  Ms. Chakraborty was also honored in 2020 National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.

She received her B.A. in 2007 from Mount Holyoke College and her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2013.  While in law school, Ms. Chakraborty was a member of the Temple Law National Trial Team and the Moot Court Honor Society.  She received the Victor A. Jaczun Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and the Barrister’s Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, Temple Law.  She is fluent in Hindi and Bengali, and is highly proficient in Spanish.

In addition to practicing law, Ms. Chakraborty is Owner/Choreographer of BollywoodTechPhilly, a competitive dance team of 40+ pro level dancers.
