Alan H. Meincke

Alan H. Meincke is a partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and Family Law practice group leader.  He dedicates his practice to helping clients in all types of domestic relations issues such as divorce, dissolution of domestic partnerships, child custody, legitimation, adoption, post-divorce contempt, and modification actions as well as a variety of general litigation matters such as defense of motor vehicle and premises liability tort claims and estate litigation.

Alan H. Meincke is a partner in the firm’s Atlanta office and Family Law practice group leader.  He dedicates his practice to helping clients in all types of domestic relations issues such as divorce, dissolution of domestic partnerships, child custody, legitimation, adoption, post-divorce contempt, and modification actions as well as a variety of general litigation matters such as defense of motor vehicle and premises liability tort claims and estate litigation.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Meincke practiced for over three years at another litigation firm in Atlanta, Georgia and for five years with his father, a former Forsyth County judge, in Cumming, Georgia.  With a wide range of litigation experience, including domestic relations actions, general liability, and estate disputes, he brings a practical and sensible approach to each case.  Mr. Meincke has litigated numerous cases with favorable results, including both bench and jury trials.

Mr. Meincke is admitted to practice in Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.  As a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association, Mr. Meincke has served in several leadership positions including President in 2015-2016.  He is also a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

He received his B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business in 2007 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011.

Mr. Meincke lives in Forsyth County with his wife and son.  In his spare time, he is an avid hiker and college football enthusiast.  Mr. Meincke and his wife are small group leaders and regularly attend North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
