Damon C. Barhorst is a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office.  He concentrates his practice in data privacy and cybersecurity law.  Thoughtful, responsive, and personable, Mr. Barhorst tailors his efforts to the specific needs of his clients.  His experience handling all types of data privacy events allows him to help clients manage all the challenges that arise from cyber-related incidents, including planning the appropriate response, managing outside consultants, and liaising with insurance representatives.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Barhorst was a member of the data privacy group of an international AmLaw 100 firm.

Mr. Barhorst earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.

When not practicing cybersecurity law, Mr. Barhorst loves to play and watch sports (golf in particular), cook, and spend time with family and friends.
