With almost 37 years of insurance litigation experience, he concentrates his practice in premises liability, product liability, construction, maritime, environmental, professional liability, toxic tort, contractual liability, complex litigation and motor vehicle liability matters. For over 25 years Mr. Chapin served as an Arbitrator in the Philadelphia Compulsory Arbitration Program.

Mr. Chapin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is currently serving a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Judicial Campaign Advisory Committee, and has been re-appointed to successive three-year terms since 1995.
Mr. Chapin has been selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers annually since 2010 in the area of civil litigation defense. Attorneys selected to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers undergo a peer review selection process, and only 5% of lawyers practicing in Pennsylvania are ultimately selected for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
He received his B.S. from the University of Scranton in 1985 and his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1989.
